27th Annual Andrews Cadillac Firecracker 5K

Celebrate Independence Day the active way at this beloved Brentwood community tradition! This year's event features two separate races: the main 5K and a shorter Kids Fun Run. The certified 5K course is scenic and welcoming to both serious runners and casual walkers, with strollers and leashed pets encouraged to join. Meanwhile, children ages 3–12 can participate in their own 1K run, making it easy for the whole family to participate together. Everyone who finishes receives a commemorative t-shirt and medal, and awards are given in several categories for top finishers across different age groups. After crossing the finish line, stick around for a family-friendly celebration with activities for kids including face painting, balloon artistry, inflatables, and refreshments like snow cones and popcorn. Local vendors will also be on hand. Registration is $50 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids Fun Run, with pricing increasing after July 2nd. You can pick up your race packet the day before or early race morning. This event benefits the Brentwood Family YMCA, so your entry fee supports local youth and family programs.
