A Country Christmas + ICE!
Step into the Home Alone house carved entirely from ice at Gaylord Opryland's festive winter experience.
Bring your family to the 43rd annual A Country Christmas celebration at Gaylord Opryland, running from November through early January. The resort transforms into a holiday wonderland with over 17 hours of activities spread across the grounds. Kids can ice skate, go tubing, ride in horse-drawn carriages, and meet Santa for photos. There's also a walk-through ice exhibit featuring the Home Alone house carved entirely from ice (tickets start at $24.39), plus a cirque-style show called "Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance" performing select dates later in the season (tickets start at $44.39).
Pricing varies depending on which attractions you choose, and you don't need to be an overnight guest to enjoy the festivities. On certain dates throughout the season—including early November, early December, and into January—visitors can explore freely all day without advance reservations. On peak weekends and busy days, you can arrive before 3 p.m. and stay into the evening. It's a great way to experience the holiday spirit with something for every age.
