A Country Christmas + ICE!

Gaylord Opryland is hosting its 43rd annual holiday celebration, featuring over 17 hours of family activities spread across the sprawling resort. Families can explore twinkling light displays, enjoy ice skating and tubing, meet Santa for photos, and take horse-drawn carriage rides through the festive grounds. The highlight this year is ICE!, a walk-through ice sculpture exhibit themed around "Home Alone," where the iconic McCallister house comes to life through hand-carved ice. For those seeking more entertainment, the cirque show "Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance" returns on select dates with acrobatic performances. General admission allows you to explore the grounds and many activities, though individual attractions have separate ticket costs (ice exhibits start at $24.39, and the cirque show at $44.39). The celebration runs daily from mid-November through early January, and you don't need to be an overnight guest to participate. On most peak days and weekends, visitors without reservations can arrive before 3 p.m. and stay into the evening, though certain dates throughout the season allow free all-day access. Activities suit families with children of all ages.
