Beloved picture-book tale springs to life at Nashville Children's Theatre.

Join Nashville Children's Theatre for this Tony Award-nominated musical adaptation of Arnold Lobel's beloved books. Follow Frog and Toad, two best friends with very different personalities, as they journey through the seasons together. With a charming score and a mix of vaudeville and imaginative storytelling, this production celebrates friendship and the ways our differences make us special. The show runs from late September through mid-October 2026. Nashville Children's Theatre goes the extra mile to welcome all families. Every performance includes sensory-friendly showings, ASL interpretation, and post-show conversations. Before the show, you'll find family-friendly lobby activities that tie into the story's themes. The theater is fully wheelchair accessible with booster seats available so younger children can see the stage comfortably. If your child needs support, the venue offers a quiet space to decompress, noise-reducing headphones, and other accommodations. A social story tool is available to help children understand what to expect. Tickets are available online, and the theater also welcomes school field trips.
