All Men Are Created Equal Tour

This special 90-minute guided experience at Rippa Villa takes visitors on a journey through American history from the founding of our nation through the Civil War era. Your guide will explore how the question of equality—and specifically the institution of slavery—shaped the country's development and deepened divisions between North and South. It's a thoughtful way to understand the complexities and contradictions that led to this pivotal moment in history. The tour is offered at 9 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays, and tickets are $29 per person. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. This particular tour is unique to Tennessee and isn't offered anywhere else in the state.
