All Men Are Created Equal Tour

This 90-minute guided experience takes visitors through American history from the nation's founding through the Civil War era, exploring how the concept of equality evolved—and fractured—over slavery's role in the country. You'll tour both the historic Carter House building and its grounds while learning about this pivotal period and the families whose lives intersected with these momentous events.
