Art at the Falls-Feeder Fairies
Craft woodland fairy decorations from acorns and natural materials to place in your garden.
Your family can create charming yard decorations while learning about wildlife care. Using acorns and other natural materials found around the park, you'll craft decorative fairies that do double duty—adding whimsy to your garden while helping feed local animals. An artist-naturalist leads the one-hour session, sharing both creative and ecological tips along the way.
The program takes place in the rotunda at Falls of the Ohio State Park and is completely free, thanks to funding from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation. This is a great hands-on activity for kids who enjoy nature crafts and want to make something they can display at home. Bring your creativity and get ready to turn natural materials into something special that benefits the wildlife around you.
