Big Band Dances

Metro Parks Music's Big Band Dance Series brings live swing and jazz to Centennial Park throughout the summer. Each Saturday evening, the festivities kick off with free dance lessons at 7 PM, followed by performances and dancing at 7:30 PM. Over a dozen local big bands rotate through the series, so you'll hear different musical styles and ensembles each week. Best of all, admission is completely free, making it an affordable outing for families who want to enjoy live music together. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just want to tap your feet and soak in the atmosphere, there's something for everyone here.
