Bluebird on the Mountain Concert – October 17, 2026

Join us for an evening of live music at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory this fall. The gates open at 3 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m., giving your family plenty of time to settle in and soak up the atmosphere on the Observatory grounds. The performance typically runs about two hours, so plan for a full evening of entertainment under the stars. This is a picnic-friendly event—families are encouraged to bring blankets, low lawn chairs, and food and beverages to enjoy together on the grounds. Individual concert tickets admit one car with up to eight people, making it an affordable outing for larger groups. After the performance ends, weather permitting, the telescope opens for stargazing. Keep in mind that concerts happen rain or shine, and once you arrive, there's no re-entry permitted. Tickets are on sale now and all sales are final.
