Campfire Story Time

Bring the family out for a cozy winter afternoon at the Discovery Center's Campfire Storytime! Your group will gather to hear "Sneezy the Snowman," a tale that doubles as a gentle introduction to science. As the story unfolds, kids will make predictions about what happens to the main character and discover how temperature changes cause different reactions in the world around us. It's the kind of program that keeps children engaged while sneaking in real learning. This one-hour session happens in the Great Outdoors exhibit and is included with your regular museum admission—no extra ticket needed. It's perfect for families who want something interactive and educational without being over-the-top, and it works well for a range of ages. Bundle up and head over for a story session that balances imagination with a little bit of hands-on science exploration.
