Campfire Story Time

Bring your family to the Discovery Center's Great Outdoors exhibit for an afternoon of storytelling and creativity. This session features a read-aloud of *The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything*, a mystery tale where a brave character encounters spooky surprises on her journey home. Kids will listen closely to discover how she responds to each mysterious encounter along the way. After the story wraps up, children get to choose their own hands-on craft activity—coloring, cutting, and creating their own keepsake to take home. This program works well for families with younger children who enjoy interactive stories and making things together. Best of all, the entire experience is included with your general museum admission, so there are no extra fees to participate.
