Campfire Story Time

Gather your young inventor at the Discovery Center for an afternoon of storytelling and creative hands-on fun. This session features a read-aloud of *Rosie Revere, Engineer*, a story celebrating how mistakes and setbacks are actually part of the learning process. Kids will make predictions about the story, follow Rosie's journey, and discuss what she discovers along the way. After the story wraps up, children design their own invention by sketching out what they'd build and how it would work. The program takes place in the Great Outdoors exhibit and is included with your regular museum admission—no extra ticket needed. This works well for kids who enjoy stories, creative projects, and a little outdoor atmosphere. It's a relaxed way to spark curiosity about problem-solving and invention while having a good time together as a family.
