Campfire Story Time

Settle in for an afternoon of storytelling at the Discovery Center's Great Outdoors exhibit. This session features a read-aloud of *Jonathan James and the What If Monster*, a tale about a boy learning to transform his worries into wonder. As the story unfolds, kids will discover how Jonathan's "what if" thoughts shift from anxiety to imagination—and they'll get to explore their own ideas too. After the story, children will create their own "What If…" pages, drawing pictures of the thoughts, worries, or exciting possibilities bouncing around in their minds. It's a chance for kids to engage with the story on a personal level and express their creativity. This program is included with regular museum admission, so there's no extra fee to participate.
