Campfire Story Time

Join us at the Discovery Center's Great Outdoors exhibit for an afternoon of storytelling and creativity. This session features a read-aloud of *The Night Before Thanksgiving*, a warm story celebrating family gatherings and holiday traditions. Before diving into the story, children will share their own Thanksgiving plans and what makes the holiday special to them. After the story, kids will create their own paper plate craft decorated with their favorite Thanksgiving foods—a hands-on keepsake to take home. This program is included with your museum admission, so there's no additional cost. It's a cozy way to get into the holiday spirit while enjoying an engaging experience designed to spark imagination and curiosity in young listeners.
