Campfire Story Time

Gather the family for an afternoon of storytelling and creativity at the Discovery Center's Great Outdoors exhibit. This session features a read-aloud of *The Night Before Thanksgiving*, a warm story about family gatherings and holiday preparations. Before diving into the story, children will share their own Thanksgiving traditions and what they're looking forward to celebrating. It's a cozy way to get kids thinking about the season while enjoying a group experience. After the story wraps up, each child will make their own paper plate craft decorated with their favorite Thanksgiving foods. The whole program is included with your regular museum admission, making it an easy addition to a visit. This works well for families with young children who enjoy interactive storytelling and hands-on activities.
