Campfire Story Time

Join us for an afternoon of storytelling and creativity at the Discovery Center's Campfire Storytime event. Kids will gather in the Great Outdoors exhibit to hear *The Night Before Thanksgiving*, a warm story about family gatherings and holiday meals. Before diving into the read-aloud, children will share their own Thanksgiving traditions and plans, creating a fun opportunity for connection. After the story wraps up, everyone gets to make a paper plate craft decorated with their favorite Thanksgiving foods. This program is included with your regular museum admission, so there's no extra fee. It's a perfect outing for families with young children who enjoy stories and hands-on activities. The whole experience runs about an hour, giving kids a chance to engage their imaginations while celebrating the season together.
