Campfire Story Time

Bundle up for a cozy afternoon of storytelling at the Discovery Center's Campfire Storytime. Your family will settle in for a reading of "Sneezy the Snowman," a charming winter tale that doubles as a gentle science lesson. As the story unfolds, kids will make predictions about what happens to the main character and explore the real-world science behind temperature and how heat and cold affect different materials. This program works wonderfully for families looking for a relaxed, engaging activity that blends imagination with learning. The session takes place in the Great Outdoors exhibit and is designed to spark curiosity through interactive storytelling. Best of all, admission to this event is included with your regular museum entry—no extra ticket needed. Just arrive ready to enjoy the experience together.
