Campfire Story Time

Bring your family to an evening of storytelling and science exploration at the Discovery Center's Campfire Storytime. During this session, children will settle in for a cozy reading of "Sneezy the Snowman" while discovering how temperature and chemical reactions work in the real world. As the story unfolds, your family will make predictions about what happens to the main character and explore why cold and hot temperatures cause different effects on objects around us. This program blends imaginative storytelling with hands-on learning, making it a great fit for families who love both a good tale and a little science discovery. The session takes place in the Great Outdoors exhibit and creates an engaging, interactive environment for kids of all ages. Best of all, admission to this program is included with your general museum entry, so there's no extra cost to participate. It's the perfect December outing for a winter afternoon with your loved ones.
