Campfire Story Time

Bring your little ones to gather around the campfire for a cozy storytelling session centered on "Run Turkey Run." Kids will hear about a clever turkey's attempts to hide using various disguises to avoid Thanksgiving dinner. It's an engaging way to build listening skills and spark imagination in a warm, outdoor setting within the Discovery Center's Great Outdoors exhibit. After the story wraps up, children will get hands-on creative time designing their own turkey disguise and imagining what their turkey might pretend to be. This craft component reinforces early literacy and creative thinking in a fun, interactive way. Best for young children who enjoy stories and hands-on activities, this program is included with regular museum admission, so no extra ticket is needed.
