Cheekwood Harvest
Explore pumpkin houses and a scarecrow trail at Cheekwood's harvest celebration.
This six-week fall festival transforms Cheekwood's beautiful 55-acre botanical garden into a seasonal celebration of autumn. Your family will discover the new Marigold River—a stunning display of over 2,500 orange, red, and yellow blooms—leading to the Pumpkin Village where interactive pumpkin houses and thousands of colorful pumpkins create Instagram-worthy moments. The Scarecrow Trail features 15 storybook-inspired creations by local artists, turning beloved characters from classic tales into life-size garden decorations with a sweet, slightly spooky vibe.
Weekends come alive with live music performances from noon to 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring a rotating lineup of local musicians across genres like country, Americana, jazz, and blues. Pack a blanket, bring a picnic, and enjoy garden games while listening to live entertainment. If your little ones are young, the TOTS! program runs Tuesday through Saturday mornings with hands-on activities, storytimes, and interactive learning stations in the Children's Garden. Don't miss the chance to pick out a pumpkin to take home. Advance timed-entry tickets are required for all guests, and parking may reach capacity during busy times.
