Cheekwood Harvest
Explore pumpkin houses and scarecrow trail at Cheekwood's fall celebration.
Cheekwood's six-week fall festival transforms the historic 55-acre botanical garden into an autumn celebration full of family activities. The estate features a brand-new Marigold River—over 2,500 blooms in orange, red, and yellow—leading visitors to the Pumpkin Village with interactive pumpkin houses, thousands of pumpkins to explore, and a Scarecrow Trail displaying 15 storybook-inspired creations by local artists. Families can pick their own pumpkin to take home and enjoy seasonal beauty throughout the grounds.
Live entertainment anchors the weekends, with different musical acts performing Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2 PM—everything from Western swing and country to jazz and soul. Bring a blanket or chair for a picnic while the kids play garden games. If you have little ones, TOTS! programs run Tuesday through Saturday mornings (10 AM–12 PM) in the Children's Garden, featuring hands-on activities, storytimes, and the popular Turtle Talks. Guided house and history tours are also available multiple times daily. Advance timed-entry tickets are required for all visitors, and parking can fill up during busy times, so plan accordingly.
