Cheekwood Harvest

Fall festival with pumpkin houses, scarecrow trail, and seasonal fun.

Cheekwood's 55-acre botanical garden becomes a fall celebration during this six-week festival, running through early November. Families will discover over 100,000 pumpkins, including a new Marigold River featuring thousands of vibrant blooms that guide visitors to the Pumpkin Village—complete with interactive pumpkin houses and photo opportunities. A Scarecrow Trail showcases 15 storybook-inspired creations by local artists, bringing beloved characters to life with a sweet, slightly spooky twist that appeals to all ages. Live music fills the grounds every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m., with diverse performers ranging from country to jazz. Visitors can pack a picnic blanket or bring chairs to enjoy the entertainment surrounded by autumn scenery. For the youngest visitors, the TOTS! program runs five days a week with hands-on activities, storytimes, and interactive learning in the children's garden. Advance timed-entry tickets are required for all guests. Parking may fill during peak times, so plan accordingly or consider rideshare options if arriving without reserved parking.
