Cheekwood Harvest

Fall harvest fun at Cheekwood with pumpkin houses, scarecrow trail & seasonal activities.

Fall comes alive at Cheekwood during this six-week celebration of autumn. The 55-acre botanical garden fills with seasonal activities and attractions, including a brand-new Marigold River featuring thousands of colorful blooms, an interactive Pumpkin Village perfect for family photos, and a storybook-themed Scarecrow Trail with 15 creative creations from local artists. Families can pick their own pumpkins to take home as a harvest keepsake. Throughout the festival, weekends feature live music performances from noon to 2 PM, giving you a chance to spread out a blanket and enjoy local musicians while kids play garden games. The estate also offers hands-on activities like TOTS! (Tuesday through Saturday mornings, geared toward toddlers but welcoming to all ages) with storytimes and interactive learning in the Children's Garden. The Cheekwood Gardening School runs workshops for adults who want to deepen their gardening skills. Timed-entry tickets are required for all visitors, and advance reservation is strongly encouraged, especially during busy weekends. Note that parking can fill to capacity during peak times.
