Cheekwood Harvest

Step into fall magic at this six-week festival celebrating the season at Cheekwood's 55-acre botanical gardens. The 2026 event features a brand-new Marigold River—over 2,500 vibrant orange, red, and yellow blooms creating a stunning walkway—leading to the Pumpkin Village with interactive houses, thousands of pumpkins, and picture-perfect photo spots. Families can also explore the Scarecrow Trail to find 15 storybook-inspired creations by local artists, then choose a pumpkin to take home. Live music fills the gardens every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m., with a rotating lineup of local bands playing everything from Western swing to jazz and blues. Beyond the main attractions, Cheekwood offers several ways to deepen your visit. Kids can join TOTS! sessions (Tuesday–Saturday mornings) for hands-on activities, storytimes, and Turtle Talks in the Children's Garden. Guided house and history tours run multiple times daily if you'd like to learn more about the estate itself. Note that advance timed-entry tickets are required for all guests, and parking can fill during busy times. The festival runs through early November, giving plenty of opportunity to experience autumn at its coziest.
