Cheekwood Harvest
Explore pumpkin houses and scarecrow trails at Cheekwood's harvest celebration.
Cheekwood transforms into a festive autumn celebration during Harvest, a six-week festival running through early November. This 55-acre botanical garden fills with seasonal activities and attractions designed for families to enjoy together. New this year is the Marigold River, a striking display of over 2,500 blooms in warm fall colors, leading visitors to the Pumpkin Village where interactive pumpkin houses and thousands of colorful pumpkins create Instagram-worthy moments. Families can browse the Scarecrow Trail to discover 15 storybook-inspired creations by local artists, then select a pumpkin to take home.
On weekends, live music performances from noon to 2 PM provide entertainment while families picnic and play garden games. Throughout the festival, the grounds remain full of activities suited for different ages: young children can visit the Children's Garden for hands-on activities and storytimes, while older kids and adults enjoy guided mansion tours or explore the expansive gardens. Advance timed-entry tickets are required for all guests. Note that during busy periods, parking may fill up, so families without rideshare should plan accordingly.
