Craft Continuum

This exhibition brings together contemporary craft artists and historical treasures in one thought-provoking space. Tennessee Craft artists were invited to create modern pieces inspired by objects housed at the Williamson County Archives & Museum, showing how traditional techniques and stories still shape the work of today's makers. You'll find everything from clay and fiber to wood, metal, and glass—each piece telling its own story about how craft traditions connect past and present. It's a wonderful outing for families curious about art, history, and handmade traditions. The exhibition runs through mid-November, with the museum open weekdays and Saturdays. Best of all, admission and parking are completely free, making it an easy addition to a Franklin afternoon. An opening reception kicks off the exhibition during Franklin's First Friday celebration in early September if you'd like to experience the launch.
