Dig and Discover Storytime

Your family is invited to join us at the Delafield Library for a morning of stories and songs held outdoors in the library garden. Children and their caregivers will listen to a story together, sing along to some music, and then head outside for a hands-on digging adventure in kinetic sand. It's a great way to combine the fun of storytime with sensory play in a garden setting. To make the most of your visit, we recommend bringing water to stay hydrated, sunscreen for sun protection, and something comfortable to sit on during the story portion. This program is completely free to attend, though registration is recommended to help with planning. Whether your child is new to library storytimes or a regular attendee, this outdoor format offers a nice change of pace from traditional indoor programming.
