DinoTrek at Nashville Zoo

Step back in time at DinoTrek, where your family encounters nearly 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs along a scenic pathway near the zoo's historic home. Kids will come face-to-face with over 20 different species, including towering giants like a 23-foot brachiosaurus and the famous T-Rex. These massive creatures—some standing over 20 feet tall and weighing more than 5,000 pounds—hiss, spit, move, and roar to bring the prehistoric world to life. DinoTrek requires a separate ticket beyond regular zoo admission: $5 per person, with children under 2 admitted free. Tickets can be purchased online, at Entry Village, or near the exhibit entrance, and each ticket is good for one visit anytime during the run. If your child is sensitive to movement or sound, sensory-friendly experiences are available from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on select dates, and a social story is available to help prepare younger visitors for the experience.
