DinoTrek at Nashville Zoo
Dinosaur-themed adventure at Nashville Zoo with outdoor exploration.
DinoTrek brings prehistoric adventure to Nashville Zoo this summer with an impressive lineup of life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. Kids will walk along a hidden path near the Historic Home and encounter more than 45 different dinosaur species, including some towering over 20 feet tall and weighing thousands of pounds. Your family will experience the sights and sounds of these ancient creatures as the animatronics move, hiss, spit, and roar throughout the journey.
Entry to DinoTrek costs $5 per person (children under 2 are free) and requires a separate ticket beyond regular zoo admission. You can buy tickets online, at Entry Village, or near the exhibit itself—each ticket works for one visit anytime during the run. If your family includes children who are sensitive to movement and noise, the zoo offers sensory-friendly morning hours from 9 to 10 a.m. on select dates, with the animatronics turned off so kids can explore at their own pace. The zoo provides a social story to help prepare younger visitors for the experience.
