Discovery Design Time

Discovery Design Time invites kids to explore how art and technology intersect through hands-on creative activities. During this session, children use tablets paired with Osmo's interactive drawing tools to follow guided prompts while learning about the evolution of artistic tools—from ancient pigments to modern digital design. The Monster-themed activity encourages listening and drawing as kids build vocabulary around technology and design. With only five stations available, siblings and friends are welcome to team up and share the experience together. This is a weekly Thursday program, so each visit brings a fresh theme and new creative challenges. It's perfect for families looking to combine art with STEAM learning in a playful, interactive setting. Kids will walk away with a better understanding of how design and digital tools work together, all while having fun creating. Check the Discovery Center's website or contact them directly for current admission pricing and any other details you might need before your visit.
