Discovery Design Time

Discovery Design Time brings Hanukkah traditions to life with a hands-on craft and game session. Your child will decorate their own dreidel using paint pens, then learn how this spinning top works as a game piece. Each of the four Hebrew letters on the dreidel — Nun, Shin, Hey, and Gimmel — determines the next move in the game. Kids will play a complete round using their own gelt (coins) while discovering the meaning behind each symbol. This weekly Thursday program rotates through different themes and activities each week, so it's easy to return for new experiences. It's a great fit for children interested in learning about cultural traditions through creative play and games. The session runs for one hour, giving kids time to both create and explore the game itself.
