Franklin’s Factory: A Historic Walking Tour

Franklin’s Factory: A Historic Walking Tour at Liberty Hall

Take a guided stroll through The Factory at Franklin and discover nearly a century of local history. Led by a staff historian, this tour walks you through the building's transformation from a early 20th-century stove works to a bedding manufacturing plant, and finally to today's vibrant hub of shops and restaurants. You'll learn about the people who worked here, the products they made, and how this industrial landmark became such an important part of Franklin's community. The whole experience takes about 45 minutes, with most walking done indoors and just brief outdoor portions (covered where possible). Tours run most Wednesdays and Fridays from April through October. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather since you'll be outside for part of the experience. Check in at The Factory Visitor Center (Suite 11GG, next to White Alligator and across from Honest Coffee Roasters) about 10 minutes before your tour starts. Parking is available in the west lot near the water tower or the south lot. To book, select your date online to purchase tickets, or contact Carris at 615-791-1777 or ccampbell@holladayproperties.com for questions or private group reservations.
