Franklin’s Factory: A Historic Walking Tour

Franklin’s Factory: A Historic Walking Tour

Guided historic walking tour of Franklin's Factory at Liberty Hall ($12+).

Step back in time with a guided exploration of The Factory's fascinating 96-year journey. Led by a staff historian, you'll discover how this landmark transformed from a stove works and bedding manufacturing plant into the beloved community gathering place it is today. Learn about the people who worked here, the products they made, and how the space has evolved. The tour covers about 45 minutes of walking (mostly in short segments) with some time spent outdoors under cover when possible. This is a great outing for families curious about local history and architecture. Tours operate nearly every Wednesday and Friday from April through October, rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Arrive 10 minutes early to check in at The Factory Visitor Center (Suite 11GG, next to White Alligator). Parking is available in the west lot near the water tower or the south lot near the large metal sculpture. For tickets, questions, or private group reservations, contact Carris at 615-791-1777 or ccampbell@holladayproperties.com. Note the cancellation policy: full refunds apply if you cancel more than a week ahead; otherwise, partial or no refunds may apply.
