Franklin’s Factory: Historic Walking Tour

Explore The Factory's fascinating 95-year history on a guided walking tour through Franklin's transformed industrial landmark. Led by the site's staff historian, you'll journey through indoor and outdoor spaces while learning about the people, products, and key moments that shaped this beloved destination. Along the way, discover how the building has evolved into the vibrant hub of shops, restaurants, and creative studios it is today. The tour runs for one hour and operates almost every Wednesday and Friday at 11 AM from April through October, rain or shine. Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Arrive about 10 minutes early to check in at The Factory x Franklin Visitor Center, located next to The White Alligator. If you'd prefer to combine history with refreshment, consider the "Sips & Stories" happy hour tour instead, which includes a beverage from The Skylight and runs Tuesday evenings. For larger groups of 6–25 people, private customized tours are also available by contacting the booking coordinator.
