Led by a staff historian, you'll explore the building's transformation from a busy manufacturing hub into today's vibrant destination filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural spaces. The tour covers both indoor and outdoor areas, so you'll experience the full scope of the building while learning about the people and moments that shaped this important part of Franklin's story. Tours run most Wednesday and Friday mornings at 11 AM from April through October, with each tour lasting about an hour. Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather, since the tour happens rain or shine. Just arrive 10 minutes early at The Factory x Franklin Visitor Center (next to The White Alligator) to check in. If you'd prefer a more personalized experience, private group tours are available for groups of 6 to 25 people, which you can customize based on your interests.
