Franklin’s Factory Historic Walking Tour

Step back into Franklin's industrial past with a guided tour through The Factory, a beloved landmark with nearly a century of history. Led by the venue's staff historian, you'll explore both indoor and outdoor spaces while learning about the people, products, and key moments that transformed this former manufacturing hub into today's vibrant community gathering place. Along the way, you'll discover the shops, restaurants, and unique attractions that now call The Factory home. Tours run about an hour and operate almost every Wednesday and Friday at 11 AM from April through October, rain or shine. Just arrive 10 minutes early at The Factory x Franklin Visitor Center (next to The White Alligator) and wear comfortable walking shoes. Prefer a more relaxed experience? The "Sips & Stories" version runs Tuesday evenings at 5:30 PM and includes a beverage from The Skylight Bar to enjoy as you walk. Private group tours are also available for groups of 6–25 people, perfect for families wanting a customized experience.
