Franklin’s Factory: Historic Walking Tour

Explore The Factory's fascinating 95-year history on a guided walking tour through this transformed industrial landmark. A staff historian leads you through the building's halls, sharing stories about the people, products, and key moments that shaped this beloved Franklin destination. Along the way, you'll see how the space has evolved into today's vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Tours run for about an hour and include both indoor and outdoor stops, so they happen rain or shine. The regular Historic Walking Tours are available almost every Wednesday and Friday at 11 AM from April through October. If you prefer something with a social twist, the Sips & Stories Happy Hour Tour happens almost every Tuesday at 5:30 PM and includes a beverage from The Skylight. Both options require comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Private group tours for 6–25 people are also available if you'd like a customized experience for a special occasion or gathering.
