Gary Nicholson & The Change + Yates McKendree

An evening of blues and roots music featuring two accomplished Nashville musicians. Gary Nicholson is a Grammy-winning songwriter and producer whose compositions have been recorded by major artists across country, rock, blues, and folk—including Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, and many others. His work has also appeared in films and television, including the Oscar-winning movie "Crazy Heart." Opening the show is 23-year-old multi-instrumentalist Yates McKendree, a Nashville native who began playing music at age three. Despite his youth, McKendree brings extensive professional experience, having performed at iconic venues like the Ryman and the Bluebird Cafe, toured internationally, and earned a Grammy Award as an engineer and musician.
