Ghost Tours at The Hermitage
Spooky lantern-lit ghost tour at Andrew Jackson's historic Hermitage.
Step into a spooky evening experience at Andrew Jackson's historic home, where you'll explore the mansion, grounds, and family cemetery by lantern light while discovering ghost stories and unexplained accounts tied to the property and Jackson himself. The tour lasts about an hour and a half and combines folklore with real history, touching on death, mourning customs, and superstitions from the late-Regency and early-Victorian periods. Before the tour begins, guests can grab a bite and specialty seasonal drink at Andrew & Rachel's Café—everything from themed cocktails to mocktails and themed food items.
Tours run Thursday through Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with a maximum of 42 guests per tour to keep the experience intimate. Tickets are $55 for members and $60 for non-members; these tours sell out quickly, so booking ahead is important. Tours happen rain or shine with no weather refunds. Each person needs their own ticket to participate. A portion of proceeds benefits the Andrew Jackson Foundation's preservation and educational efforts.
