Green Hills Park Festival

Face painting, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and outdoor movie at Green Hills Park.

Mark your calendar for the 10th annual Green Hills Park Festival, a free community celebration designed to support park improvements while delivering a full day of entertainment. Families will find plenty to keep everyone occupied: live music, face painting, kids' crafts, a free snow cone station, character visits, and an obstacle course. A selection of food trucks serves everything from hot dogs to lobster rolls, plus there's a beer and wine bar for adults. Local artisans and makers fill the vendor area with handmade goods, from pottery to artwork to specialty foods. The festivities wrap up with an outdoor screening of Toy Story at dusk, so bring a blanket or chairs to settle in for movie night. A new highlight this year is the Pups & Pints experience—a dedicated area where dogs can enjoy an off-leash zone while owners browse pet-focused vendors selling treats, toys, and accessories. The festival also features community nonprofit organizations you can learn about while browsing. Since some vendors operate cash-only, bring spending money along with any picnic essentials. Best of all, admission is completely free for everyone, including your furry friends (who should be leashed when not in the designated off-leash area).
