Hendersonville Freedom Festival

Fourth of July festival at Drakes Creek Park with food, music & fireworks.

Join your community at Drakes Creek Park for a free celebration featuring live music, food, and fireworks. The evening kicks off with Uncle Shuffelo & His Haint Hollow Hootenanny, a local string band bringing classic American folk and old-time music with infectious energy that gets crowds clapping and stomping. Headlining the night is Rockland Road, a six-piece family band spanning four generations, known for blending country, gospel, pop, and Americana into high-energy performances. News 2 Chief Meteorologist Danielle Breezy will emcee the festivities. Beyond the live entertainment, expect a dedicated Kids Zone for younger visitors, over 35 food vendors offering everything from barbecue to shaved ice, and more than 65 local vendors. The evening culminates with one of Sumner County's most impressive fireworks displays. This is a family-friendly event with plenty to keep everyone entertained, and volunteers are currently being sought to help with setup, guest experience, and activities—a great opportunity for families or students looking to give back while enjoying the celebration.
