Hike with Jane at the Wilderness Station

Join a guided nature walk led by Jane, a Tennessee State Naturalist, at the Wilderness Station. This one-hour hike focuses on exploring bees and bumblebees—our native pollinators that play such an important role in our local ecosystem. You'll get to experience the natural surroundings of Barfield Crescent Park while learning fascinating facts about these creatures from an expert who's genuinely passionate about wildlife education. This is a great outing for families who enjoy spending time outdoors and want their kids to discover more about nature. No advance registration is required, so you can simply show up and join in.
