Homeschool Learning Pods: Tennessee Ties

Homeschool Learning Pods: Tennessee Ties offers a hands-on field trip experience designed specifically for young learners. First-graders and up are invited to spend an hour exploring Tennessee's rich history through a creative engineering project. During the session, students will design and construct different types of historical boats inspired by the waterways that shaped our state. The activity is led by the Discovery Center's education team and takes place on a Thursday afternoon. Participation costs $10 per student and $10 per accompanying adult or chaperone. Your admission fee includes access to the museum for the remainder of the day after the structured learning pod concludes. Spots fill up through registration, so interested families should sign up in advance.
