Kitchen Chemistry

Your child will spend the day exploring the science of food through hands-on activities and experiments. Campers will mix ingredients, take measurements, and test out predictions as they uncover the chemistry behind everyday recipes and the foods they love to eat. The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with check-in starting at 8:30 AM. You'll need to pack a snack for your child each day, and lunch can either be brought from home or ordered ahead from the on-site STRATA Café. Before Care and After Care options are available for an additional fee if you need earlier drop-off or later pickup. Keep in mind that this camp uses various food ingredients during activities, so families with food allergies or dietary restrictions should reach out to the camp coordinator at dmohammed@adventuresci.org to discuss whether it's the right fit. The Adventure Science Center also offers subsidized registration for families participating in SNAP, WIC, or TANF programs.
