Kitchen Chemistry

Your child will spend the day exploring the surprising science behind everyday cooking during this hands-on camp at Adventure Science Center. Through mixing, measuring, and experimenting with food ingredients, campers will discover the chemistry hidden in their favorite recipes. They'll make predictions, test their ideas, and see firsthand how science comes alive in the kitchen—turning cooking into a real lab experience. The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and welcomes kindergarten through 4th grade campers. Before and after care options are available for an additional fee if you need earlier drop-off or later pickup. Please note that the center does not provide meals or snacks, so plan to send your child with a snack each day and either pack a lunch or order ahead from the on-site café. One important detail: since this camp uses various food ingredients throughout the day, the center may not be able to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions.
