Knee-High Naturalists: Fall 2026

Your little ones (ages 3–5) will spend six weeks discovering the natural world with a trained Environmental Educator at Owl's Hill. Each session focuses on a different theme—from tracking nature detectives and exploring animal homes to learning about owl behavior. Kids engage through hands-on crafts, outdoor exploration, and collaborative discovery while you stay involved as their learning partner. Sessions run 90 minutes each Wednesday morning and are kept intentionally small, so registration is essential. An adult-child pair costs $165, with additional siblings at $125 each. Classes happen rain or shine, though severe weather warnings may prompt cancellations (you'll receive a day-pass credit if that happens). Come prepared with water bottles, insect repellant, and sunscreen. Note that strollers and unregistered siblings aren't permitted, and please leave pets at home to protect the sanctuary's wildlife.
