Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger
Become a Junior Ranger exploring the historic Lewis & Clark trail at Falls of the Ohio State Park.
Falls of the Ohio State Park hosts the Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger Program, an official activity connected to the National Historic Trail. Kids ages 7 to 13 receive an activity booklet to complete during the one-hour program, which meets in the rotunda. Once finished, young rangers earn an official Junior Ranger pin as recognition of their achievement. Best of all, the program is completely free thanks to support from the National Park Service.
This is a great way for families to explore local history while keeping kids engaged in a structured, hands-on activity. If your child forgets to bring a booklet or needs one, extras are available at the front desk. It's an affordable outing that combines education with the chance to earn a keepsake pin kids can be proud of.
