Lotz House Ghost Tour

Lotz House Ghost Tour

Spooky tour of historic Lotz House in Franklin—ghostly tales & local history.

The Lotz House is a beautifully preserved Civil War-era home built in 1858 that sits on the battlefield of the pivotal Battle of Franklin. During your visit, a knowledgeable guide will walk you through the house and share the stories of the family who lived there, the battle that surrounded them, and the home's role as a hospital for soldiers from both sides of the war. You'll see physical evidence of the conflict, including damage from cannonball fire, and explore thousands of artifacts recovered from the battlefield alongside period furnishings and family belongings. Tours run about 45 minutes and begin on the hour, and unlike many historical house tours, you'll be able to walk through and browse every room rather than viewing from behind ropes. The Lotz House offers different specialty tour options, each focusing on different angles of the history. To book your visit, call (615) 790-7190 or email info@lotzhouse.com, as advance reservations are required for specialty tours. This is a wonderful experience for families interested in American history and the local stories that shaped Franklin's heritage.
