Musical Instrument Petting Zoo
Touch & explore real instruments at the Country Music Hall of Fame—free activity.
Your family can explore the world of country music instruments hands-on at this interactive activity. Kids get to try playing fiddles, banjos, ukuleles, and other instruments with guidance from instructors on hand. It's designed for all ages, so whether your child is a budding musician or just curious about how these instruments work, there's something to discover. The activity takes place at the Taylor Swift Education Center within the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The best part? This program is included with your regular museum admission, and it's completely free for museum members. If you're a Tennessee resident from the local area (Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, or Wilson counties), your kids ages 18 and under get in free, and up to two adults get 25 percent off—just bring proof of residency. No registration needed; it's drop-in during the scheduled hours, making it easy to fit into your visit.
