Once Upon a Main Street: 412 Main Street
Free community event with history, music, and food celebrating Main Street.
Curious about the hidden stories behind Franklin's downtown buildings? This new community series invites you to explore the history of iconic Main Street addresses through storytelling and local history. The first event focuses on 412 Main Street, currently home to Stable Reserve. Laura Faber, host and producer of Tennessee Crossroads, will walk guests through the building's past—why it was constructed, how it's been used over the decades, and the physical changes it's undergone. You'll discover the people, businesses, and transformations that have shaped this storied space.
The evening is free and welcoming for families and history enthusiasts. Doors open at 5:00 pm with live music, displayed historic photographs, and a happy hour to help you settle in. At 5:30, Laura Faber leads the storytelling session, which wraps up by 6:00 pm. Music and mingling continue until 6:30 pm, so you can stay as long as you'd like. This is a great way to deepen your connection to Franklin's downtown heritage.
